Absence

Well folks, sorry I've been "out of commission" for a bit here. Internet is down at my house and typing some of these blogs can be difficult here at work during certain times.

Anyways, just checking in to say hello, had another great weekend with Megan (we were acting like little tykes at Best Buy and we were both surprised to not get kicked out), watched 21 on Sunday night and purchased "Roller Coaster Tycoon 2" which took me back to my childhood (in which I played for about 5 hours in one sitting)! It was such a pleasurable feeling as we all have that inner child that at times, needs to come out and play again!

This past week has taught me a lot of "lessons", per se, in how to handle certain situations. I feel I have a stronger grasp on dealing with emotions/situation and how to convey them in the appropriate manner. Knowing when to "wear them on your sleeve" is a good thing as communications is key and vital to any strong bond that you share with someone, or something. The irony in this statement falls true since I was out to lunch yesterday with a couple of my new co-workers. They started speaking about their personal relationships and how their spouses, partners, etc. treat each other. One thing that intrigued me (and I've had this belief since day one) is my one co-worker's relationship with her husband of 12 years. She mentioned that never once have they raised their voices to one another, slept on the couch or walked out of the house in a fit of anger/hostility. This was all because of good communication. I strongly believe that good communication will solve all issues that many couples faces in today's society. I believe in this, have this, and I can speak on my current experiences; it works very very well!!

Happy Tuesday!

Our show is in 3 weeks @ Bootleggers in Woodlyn, PA. If you're from the area (Suburbs of Philadelphia - Delaware County) then you should stop on by and enjoy some good tunes, say hello, have a drink and meet some really nice people who I know personally will be attending.

Cheers
